この表では、Northwood コアの Pentium4 3GHz(青色太字部分)のクロック 1MHz 当たりの効率を 1 とした場合に、各 CPU の効率を計算した上で、各 CPU が Northwood コアの Pentium4 では何 MHz に相当するかという、大まかな換算値を算出してあります。上に行くほど高性能ですが、CPU の性能だけでパソコン全体の性能が決まるわけではないのでご注意を。
モバイルCPUは同じモデルナンバーのデスクトップCPUと比較して、性能は一致しないようです。FSBやHT、クロック、キャッシュサイズを調べた上で、同じ仕様のCPUを探してみてください。
計算方法:CPUの動作クロックにそのコア・ベースクロック・キャッシュの係数をかける。
Intel i7:TurboBoostが効いている状態を基準にしているので、TurboBoostが効きにくい(冷えない)環境ではスコアが下がります。スコアの付け方はP6系に準じています。
Intel P6系:キャッシュ2倍で係数0.15増、ベースクロック33MHz増加で係数0.05増、QPI1600MT/s増で0.025増、デュアルコア化で係数1.165倍、クアッドコア化でさらに係数1.19倍、6コア化でさらに係数1.07倍。Banias以降は+0.35、Conroe以降は+0.25、Bloomfield以降は+1.32してあります。
Intel NetBurst系:キャッシュ2倍で係数0.075増、ベースクロック66MHz増加で係数0.033増、デュアルコア化で係数1.4倍。Prescottは-0.1してあります。
AMD K7系:キャッシュ2倍で係数0.1増、ベースクロック33MHz増加で係数0.05増。
AMD K8、K10系:キャッシュ2倍で係数0.01増、HyperTransport +200MHzで係数0.02増、デュアルチャネルメモリ化で係数0.04増、デュアルコア化で係数1.2倍、トリプルコア化で係数1.296倍、クアッドコア化で係数1.55倍、6コア化で1.65倍。
